What you get

Every purchase on All Affordable comes with the following protections. These exist whether or not the seller is willing to honor them — we step in if they will not.

• Funds held in escrow via Stripe Connect. Sellers do not get paid until delivery is confirmed.
• Automatic delivery for digital products. The platform handles the download link; the seller cannot stall.
• 48-hour dispute window for material mismatches between product description and what you received.
• Refund if a product file is broken, empty, or materially different from what was promised.

14-day right of withdrawal — digital products

UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83 normally give you 14 days to change your mind on online purchases. For digital products, you waive this right at checkout when you give explicit consent to immediate access. The checkbox at checkout is not pre-ticked — your consent must be active.

You can still open a dispute under our policy if the product was materially different from its description.

Dispute process

1. You open the dispute from your order page. Describe what went wrong. Optionally upload evidence (screenshots, file samples).
2. Seller has 48 hours to respond with their side and any evidence.
3. We decide based on the product description, the file delivered, and both parties' evidence. For digital products, we can actually download and compare.
4. Outcome: full refund, partial refund, or dispute rejected (with explanation).

Funds stay held in escrow during the dispute. No silent favoring of one side over the other.

Chargebacks

If you have unresolved issues with our dispute decision, you can escalate to your card issuer. We will respond honestly with the evidence on file. We do not threaten or punish buyers who exercise chargeback rights.
